Milwaukee police investigate four overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Milwaukee police are investigating four overnight shootings Friday, Dec. 25 into Saturday, Dec. 26.

20th and Hadley 

A 39-year-old man was shot near 20th and Hadley Friday, Dec. 25.

Police say it happened around 8:55 p.m. on Christmas.

The victim was treated at a local hospital and is expected to survive.

There are no current suspects.

33rd and Burleigh

A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was shot near 33rd and Burleigh around 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 25.

Police say the victim was walking when the suspects approached and fired several shots at him, striking him.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

There are no suspects.

36th and North

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was shot near 36th and North around 12:53 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26.

Police say the victim was walking when he heard several shots and was struck.

He walked into a local hospital for non-life threatening injures.

There are no suspects. 

38th and Congress

A 27-year-old Milwaukee man sustained serious injuries after being shot near 38th and Congress Saturday, Dec. 26.

Police say it happened around 1:26 a.m.

The victim walked into a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.

What led up to the shooting remains under investigation.

There are no suspects.
