MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One person is dead following a hit-and-run crash near 35th and National. 

It happened Saturday, May 10 around 9:40 p.m. 

Police say a 90-year-old was crossing the street when they were struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. 

The victim died at the scene. 

The driver of the striking vehicle, a 41-year-old man, was identified and arrested. 

Charges are being referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
