MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Bucks hosted a sold-out watch party inside Fiserv Forum Thursday night.

Doors opened at 7 p.m., an hour before tip-off. The team sold 9,000 tickets for the indoor watch party, where fans watched the game from inside the arena.

It's the second indoor watch party this series. The Bucks held the first one on Tuesday for Game 1.

"We learned some stuff. It was interesting for us to do it for the first time. The screen will be lower than it was for the last game, so everybody was able to see just a little bit easier," said Justin Green, vice president of hospitality for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Fans told CBS 58 they were most excited to see their MVP play at his best.

"Giannis is going to look better. He's gonna step it up. He's much more healthy. I think he's gonna perform at his peak," said Bucks fan James White.

"I feel like they're going to win," said 10-year-old Josiah.

"It's a long series. It's seven games. One game means nothing. They were feeling things out and I think that the team knows and the fans know that Game 2 is going to be totally different," Green said.

Fans hoped their energy would encourage the players to be at their best.

“I love all this,” said Bucks fan James Valentine. “We got revenue coming in to the city. We got people coming together and everybody masking up.”

Fans say if you can’t be in Phoenix, this was pretty close.

In fact Christopher Walker, the lone Suns fan, had a blast.

“Would any other team have an away game watch party like this?” CBS 58 asked.

“I don’t think so. I’ve never experienced anything like this,” Walker said.

Fans can’t wait to have the team back home on Sunday.

“Having them in Milwaukee is going to be incredible,” said fan Jay Forman. “I think all the fans here -- it’s such a great atmosphere in the Deer District.”
