8,000 Students at Second Admirals Education Game
The Milwaukee Admirals faced off against their Chicago rivals with more than 8,000 students from area schools as their fans. The second Admirals education game took place Wednesday morning.
Kids get a chance to take a break from the classroom and watch the game. The education continues however, as the Admirals hand out educational booklets that kids can fill out as the watch some hockey.
“I remember when I was a kid field trips were always the best, so this way teachers look at this a chance to do something fun and education let the kids blow off a little steam, we're getting into the dog days of the semester so it's a fun way to get out and hopefully learn something and have a little fun," says Jon Greenberg, the president of the Milwaukee Admirals.
The Admirals plan to host another education game for March.
