79-year-old bicyclist hit by car near 99th and Bluemound

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- A 79-year-old man sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car while riding his bike Friday, Nov. 27.
Police say it happened around 1:11 p.m. near 99th and Bluemound.
The 28-year-old driver fled the scene in the car but was later located and arrested.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the upcoming days.
