5Th Annual Women leaders Conference

Area women leaders are gearing up for eye–opening education, camaraderie and inspiration during the fifth annual UWM Women Leaders Conference –9am-5pm, April 4, at the Pfister Hotel.

The Marine Corps’ very first African-American female combat pilot, Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour, will be the morning keynote speaker. Dara Torres, Olympic medalist, author, commentator, mother and role model, will give the keynote luncheon address.

In addition, there will be engaging speakers from all over the U.S. and Milwaukee.

Breakout sessions feature topics including: Being the Leader Others Want to Follow; Innovation; Leadership – the Native American Perspective; Managing Conflict; Managing Overwhelm; Navigating Your Career; Networking Across Generations; Non-Profit Know-How; Owning Your Online Reputation; Personal Branding What Women Need to Know About Money; and When to Take a Chance.
