58-year-old Woman Taken to Hospital after Franklin Fire

On Wednesday, April 27 at approximately 9:24 AM, the Franklin Fire Department responded to 12155 West Virginia Circle for a house fire. When firefighters arrived, smoke and flames were seen coming from one unit in an eight unit condo building.
The fire was contained to the unit and extinguished quickly.
A 58-year-old woman was inside the unit that was on fire and she was transported to St. Luke's Hospital-Milwaukee for evaluation.
All of the other residents in the building were evacuated and were allowed to return to their homes on Wednesday.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
