MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- On Thursday, 56 MPD recruits walked across the stage at the Police Academy during a graduation ceremony.
They are now Milwaukee's newest police officers.
They heard from their new leader, Chief Alfonso Morales, who expressed his pride in their accomplishments.Â
He also talked about the challenges they now face.
"You will see a lot on this job. You are going to be tested. The academy gave you a foundation of ethics. You will grow strong in your faith," said Chief Alfonso Morales.Â
