54-year-old hit by two cars in Caledonia

CALEDONIA, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Caledonia Police Department says a 54-year-old man was flown by Flight For Life after being hit by two cars on Wednesday, December 30.

Authorities say it happened around 6:30 p.m. near Six Mile Road and Beechnut Drive.

According to the police department, the man was walking along Six Mile Road and crossed into the path of a car. The driver swerved to avoid hitting the man, but was unable to do so. The car left the road and hit a tree. While the 54-year-old man was hurt in the road, he was hit by another car.

Both drivers remained on scene and were cooperative with police. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash.

The extent of the man’s injuries is unknown at this time.
