53-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Town Of Yorkville

RACINE COUNTY - A 53-year-old pedestrian is dead following a vehicle vs pedestrian accident earlier this evening.

The first Sheriff squad arrived on scene shortly before 6 p.m. and confirmed the accident involved a pedestrian. Life-saving measures were started. Union Grove and Yorkville Fire and Rescue then arrived on scene and took over. The pedestrian died of her injuries on scene.

She was found to be a 53-year-old female who lived at a residence nearby the accident scene.

The driver and occupants of the vehicle involved stayed on scene and are cooperating with the accident investigation.
