53-year-old man shot near Marquette University campus

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- A 53-year-old man was shot near 19th and State around 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.

Milwaukee police say the victim was rushed to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

The incident was related to road rage, officials say.

According to Marquette police, the victim, who is not affiliated with Marquette, was sitting in his car when a person walked up to his vehicle and shot him in the stomach. 

The suspect then ran away.
