44-year-old Milwaukee woman killed in Town of Lisbon crash

Waukesha County, WIS. (CBS 58) -- A fatal crash remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened Monday, shortly after 11 p.m. on Hwy 164 at Jay Lane in the Town of Lisbon.

Initial investigation reveals that a Cadillac traveling southbound on Hwy 164 crossed the centerline and traveled into the northbound lane causing a northbound Dodge to leave the roadway. The dodge rolled into the ditch on the east side of the road.

The Cadillac continued southbound in the northbound lane and collided with a Mazda traveling northbound on Hwy 164 at Jay Lane.

The operator and sole occupant of the Mazda, a 44-year-old Milwaukee female, sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The operator and sole occupant of the Cadillac, a 23-year-old Pewaukee female, was taken by Flight For Life to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The operator and sole occupant of the Dodge, a 59-year-old Waupun man, sustained no injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
