40-year-old killed after being struck by hit-and-run driver near 64th and Silver Spring

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 40-year-old was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Monday, Sept. 11. 

Police say it happened near 64th and Silver Spring just before 3 a.m. 

The victim was located by Milwaukee police officers who were patrolling the area.

According to police, despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Deon Moore. 

The circumstances leading up to the collision are under investigation.

Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspect(s).
