40-year-old injured in hit and run in West Milwaukee

West Milwaukee and Milwaukee Police are investigating a hit and run accident involving a pedestrian. It happened around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13th at Miller Park Way and Orchard Street.
A 40-year-old Milwaukee man was struck by a white SUV that fled the scene. The incident was caught on surveillance video, and police believe the vehicle is a GMC Envoy or something similar. It may have front-end damage on the passenger side.
The victim is in serious, but stable condition at a local hospital.
