WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Ascension Wisconsin is helping more people have access to their medications, at no cost.
Four additional pharmacies have been added to the organization's 'Dispensary for Hope' program.
Their goal, to support qualifying patients receive the care they need, without high prescription prices. This expansion only enhances Ascension's ability, to do just that.

"Unless patients take their meds as prescribed their health condition will not improve, and they may end up in the ER," said Mo Kharbat, vice president of pharmacy services. "A program like this can help our patients live longer, live healthier and avoid these ER visits, hospital stays that can be prevented."
The program began in 2017 and now reaches nine pharmacies across the state.
