39-year-old Milwaukee man seriously hurt after being shot following apparent armed robbery

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 39-year-old Milwaukee man is seriously hurt after being shot on Wednesday, April 1.

According to Milwaukee Police, the man was shot around 9:50 p.m. near 5th and Clarke following an apparent armed robbery. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police are searching for the suspect.

Shelter in Homes folks. We are under orders to shelter in our homes. If you are out wandering the streets you are going to catch the Corona Virus, a bullet, or a $200.00 fine for ignoring sheltering in place order. Yes I suppose he could of been going for groceries or maybe the victim was essential personnel with a letter for work. If you are out walking around maintain your social distancing of at least 6 feet from others.
