33-year-old man shot, MPD searching for suspect

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A 33-year-old man is hurt after being shot Thursday evening in Milwaukee.

According to police, the shooting happened near W. Kaul Ave. and N. 61^st St. around 10:07 p.m.

The victim was taken to the hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

An investigation into the incident is underway. Police are searching for a suspect.
