MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that left a 3-year-old child injured late Sunday night, May 11, near 24th and Auer.

The child sustained gunshot wounds around 10:50 p.m. and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to Milwaukee police. The extent of the child’s injuries has not been released.

As of Monday, no suspects were in custody, though suspects are being sought.
