3 people taken by Flight for Life following head-on collision in Fond du Lac County

Three people had to be taken by Flight for Life following a crash Friday afternoon.

Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office responded along with two Campbellsport Ambulances and Fire Department, Eden Fire Department and First Responders, Fond du Lac City Ambulance, three medical helicopters-two Flight for Life Helicopters, Theda Star Helicopter and Wisconsin State Patrol were all dispatched to a two vehicle head-on injury crash on USH 45 north of CTH F in the Town of Osceola. 

Preliminary investigation indicates a northbound vehicle on USH 45, driven by a 23-year-old Wauwatosa man had crossed the center line striking a southbound vehicle driven by a 66-year-old Eden man head-on.

Both drivers and the female passenger in the northbound vehicle were all seriously injured and transported by medical helicopters.

The Eden man was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center and the Wauwatosa male and his passenger were flown to Froedtert Hospital.

USH 45 was closed to all traffic while the Fond du Lac Sheriff’s Crash Team investigated the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
