3-car crash on Milwaukee's north side injures 2 people

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- At least two people are hurt after a fiery crash involving three cars on Milwaukee's north side on Wednesday, Oct. 6.  

It happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon near 91st and Good Hope Rd.

Police say a 19-year-old driver was speeding, and ran a red light before hitting another car. The 29-year-old man whose car was hit had to be freed from his vehicle. He is in serious but stable condition as of Thursday morning. 

The impact of the first crash caused the second car to hit a third car.

We're told the car that was speeding, and caused the initial crash, started on fire.

Police say that driver was taken to the hospital, but he was not seriously hurt.
