MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say three men were arrested Monday, Aug. 30, after a shots fired investigation led to a police chase and crash near 16th and Becher.

Around 5:13 p.m., officers attempted to stop a vehicle with a suspect inside wanted in a shots fired investigation.

Police say the suspect vehicle fled and officers pursued the vehicle to the area near 16th and Becher, where the driver crashed into several other vehicles.

Authorities say a suspect and officers then exchanged gunfire and one suspect fled on foot.

After a brief pursuit, a 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested, and two additional suspects were arrested from inside the suspect vehicle at the scene of the crash -- two Milwaukee men, ages 20 and 21.
