27-Year-old woman charged in Brady St. hit and run

MILWAUKEE -- Charges have now been filed in connection with a bar-time hit and run on Brady Street. 27-year-old Katelyn Kramsky is accused of injuring a 27-year-old man while drunk driving.

The 27-year-old victim was serious hurt while crossing Brady St. in a crosswalk. Witnesses say after the victim was hit, Kramsky slammed on her brakes to dislodge him from her windshield. Witnesses also say she sped off from the scene, running a red light at Farwell and Brady St.

An officer saw her run that light pulled her over. When asked about the damage to her car, she allegedly said \"I hit someone on Brady Street\".

If convicted of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle and failure to render aid, Kramsky could serve up to 27 years in prison.
