SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man is dead following a crash in the Town of Herman in Sheboygan County. 

According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office, around 12:20 a.m., the victim was driving a Jaguar Coupe was traveling eastbound on Garton Road when he crashed into a cornfield just east of Bridgwood Road. 

The driver was declared dead at the scene after life-saving measures were attempted. He was identified as a 27-year-old from Howards Grove.

Assisting agencies at the crash site include the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office, Orange Cross Ambulance, Howards Grove Fire Department, Howards Grove First Responders, Ada Fire Department, and Sheboygan County Drone Unit.
