25-year-old woman fatally shot near 72nd and Congress

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on Saturday, Sept. 11, near 72nd and Congress.
According to police, the shooting occurred at approximately 6:16 p.m. Saturday.
Officials report that the victim, a 25-year-old female, sustained a life threatening gunshot injury and died on scene.
Milwaukee police say the circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
Authorities continue to seek unknown suspects at this time.
