24-Year-Old Woman Shot While Sitting Inside her Home

MILWAUKEE - A 24-year-old woman is recovering this morning after being shot inside of her home.
The shooting happened in the 2600 block of S. 11th street shortly before 11 p.m.
She was sitting inside of her home when shots were fired from outside.
The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury.
The Milwaukee Police do not believe this was a random act.
The investigation remains ongoing.
