24-Year-old man who jumped into quarry in Pewaukee dies

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- Emergency personnel responded to an incident that happened near a quarry in Pewaukee on Saturday night.
Waukesha Co. Sheriffs say that a 24-year-old man drove his car through a fence surrounding a quarry.
A sheriff tried to negotiate with the man but he jumped into the quarry. Flight for Life was called to the scene. We learned on Sunday, that the man has died.
Police also said an officer was injured after slipping on some ice and rolling his ankle. That officer was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
