23 dogs rescued from commercial breeding facility, welcomed by Wisconsin Humane Society

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society has taken in 23 dogs that were rescued from a commercial breeding facility in the southern part of the country.

On Thursday, June 22, the dogs were brought to the WHS Milwaukee Campus where they will undergo medical examinations, behavioral assessments, spay/neuter surgeries and receive microchips and vaccinations before being placed for adoption.

WHS is requesting assistance in fostering the dogs.

Additionally, WHS is offering a 50% reduction in adoption fees for dogs over six months of age.
