2020 New Year's babies born in southeast Wisconsin 🎉👶

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Families in southeast Wisconsin welcomed babies on New Year's Day. 

One of the first born in 2020 was Ximena at Aurora West Allis Medical Center to mother Angelene Zarate (Angel) and father Derrick Martel. Ximena was 7 pounds and eight ounces and 20 inches long. She is sister to brother, Elijah, who will be 2 in March. The hospital says mom Angel was also born at West Allis Medical Center. 

At Aurora Sinai Medical Center, Maylasia Amor Woods was born to mother Taiiasha Matthews. Maylasia was born at 4:21 a.m. and weighed 5 pounds and 8 ounces, 19.5 inches and is the youngest of five children. Big siblings to Maylasia are Taiiasha-Tayvion Mathews age 8, Cartie Matthews age 5, Khloie Matthews age 3, and Bryon Woods Jr age 2.
