2 Milwaukee men arrested, accused of robbing Greenfield bank

GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two men have been arrested after a Greenfield bank robbery Friday, Dec. 20.

Greenfield police received a hold up alarm from Educators Credit Union followed by 911 calls from inside the bank around 5:02 p.m.

Authorities say one suspect, a 24-year-old Milwaukee man, demanded money and threatened a weapon before getting into a vehicle that was waiting outside. 

The vehicle was located by police in the 2800 block of S. 83rd Street. The driver was identified as a 26-year-old Milwaukee man.

Both suspects were taken into custody and money believed to be from the bank was recovered. 

Charges are expected to be taken to the DA's Office next week.
