WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Sheriff's officials say two people have died following a crash in the Village of Waukesha Monday, June 9.
Law enforcement responded to the intersection of Highway 164 and Lawnsdale Road around 3:16 p.m.
Officials say a 44-year-old man was driving a semi-truck southbound on Highway 164 when a vehicle traveling northbound attempted to make a left turn onto Lawnsdale Road, crossing into the semi-truck's path.
The semi struck the vehicle, which was then pushed into another vehicle stopped at the intersection.
The sheriff's office says the vehicle struck by the semi was driven by a 91-year-old woman with a 92-year-old male passenger. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi driver and the driver of the third vehicle were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation remains ongoing.
