2 Injured in parking lot fight at Waukesha Skateland

WAUKESHA -- A woman and child were injured in a parking lot fight involving more than a dozen people at Waukesha Skateland.


According to Waukesha police, the fight broke out just after 11 p.m. on August 31.


A group of patrons was upset after being denied entry after the skating rink met its capacity. That group got into a fight with another group in the parking lot. Police say about 15 people were involved. 


A 34-year-old woman was found unconscious in the parking lot when officers arrived. Police say she suffered life threatening injuries and had been run over by driver from the angry group. The driver fled the scene before police arrived.


A 6-year-old boy was also injured after being hit with a liquor bottle. Both victims are being treated at Froedtert Hospital. 


Police are seeking a known suspect and the vehicle involved has been found.
