RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people were hurt in a fire Thursday morning in Racine.

The fire broke out near 10th St. and Racine St. around 3:30 a.m.

A man who lives next door to the home said he heard someone banging on his front door this morning. After getting his children out of the home safely, he went to look at his neighbor's home and saw flames coming from inside.

"It was pretty much coming more from out the back than the front," Andre Fields said. "But it was just like, it was like a movie, it was happening so fast. It was uncontrollable."

The fire remains under investigation.
