3 hurt after car crashes into MCTS bus along Route 92
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Earlier Thursday, Oct. 23, a vehicle crashed into the rear of a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus near 91st and Bradley.
Police state the vehicle fled from a squad car when it attempted to make a traffic stop. Officers did not pursue the car as it was too far ahead. However, the car continued to speed and rear-ended a MCTS bus.
The driver, a 15-year-old, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
The vehicle was determined to be stolen by police and criminal charges are being referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
The bus was holding five passengers while heading south on Route 92.
In a statement from MCTS, only one passenger sought out medical attention along with the bus driver for non-life-threatening injuries.
