2,000 Students to Meet Businesses in the Math and Science Field

Some middle and high school students getting a taste of what real world work is like at the Wisconsin Center today.

More than 2,000 students tried their hands at math and science demonstrations and met with 43 different businesses and labor unions.

One student we spoke with  already knew what he was looking for.

"My dad was a heavy equipment operator for ten years so it's basically always what I wanted to do since I was in the sandbox playing with my Tonka toys.

"I mean everything is cool here so yeah!"

The "Building a Better Wisconsin" expo's goal is to get more kids into jobs in the stem field that's science, technology, engineering and math.
