MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin has hosted major golf events like the PGA, U.S. Open, and next year, the Ryder Cup.
However, no tournament has had as much life-changing impact on young people in Milwaukee over the years as the Fellowship Open.
The 19th annual event that raises money for youth groups tees off Friday, August 16 at Silver Spring Golf Course in Menomonee Falls.
Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. A lunch, award ceremony, and silent auction will follow at 1 p.m.
