19-year-old man killed, 18-year-old woman hospitalized in Sheboygan shooting
CBS 58 SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Sheboygan police say a 19-year-old man is dead, and an 18-year-old woman hospitalized following a shooting inside a residence on Sat. Jan. 17,
Police responded to the shooting scene shortly after 8:00 p.m., near South 10th Street and Alabama Avenue.
Officers located both victims who had both been shot.
Emergency crews provided aid immediately and transported the 19-year-old to Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan, where he died as a result of his injuries.
The 18-year-old victim was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital for emergent care before being transferred to a hospital in Green Bay.
The suspects fled the scene prior to officers' arrival.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing, as no arrests have been made.
Preliminary information indicates that all parties knew each other and that it was an isolated incident.
