MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- One man is okay after jumping from the second floor balcony of his burning home on the north side of Milwaukee this morning.   The Milwaukee Fire Department  was  called to a home near 14th and Ring at about 9:30 am.  They found piles of clothes burning in the basement.  The Fire Department says it appears that careless smoking started the fire.

Five adults and 14 children are now being helped by the Red Cross.

Fire officials warned against jumping from a burning home if it's not necessary, fortunately, no one was hurt in the fire.
