18-Year-Old Woman Arrested After Shoplifting at Bayshore Turned Into Car Crash

An 18-year-old woman was arrested by Glendale Police following a chase and crash around 8:20 PM on Wednesday night.
According to the Glendale Police, there was a call to the Bayshore Mall for the report of a suspected shoplifting at one of the stores.
A young woman was seen leaving the store.
She fled west on Silver Spring and was pursued by police until her car collided with another vehicle at Argyle.
The woman then attempted to flee on foot but was captured and is currently in custody.
Police are still investigating the incident. Charges have yet to be filed.
