WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities seized 17 firearms, more than an ounce of cocaine, and more than $12,000 while executing a search warrant in the Village of Slinger Thursday, Aug. 24.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, thousands of rounds of ammunition, ballistic vests, psilocybin mushrooms and marijuana were also confiscated from the James Street apartment.
Officials say Robert Cleveland, a 37-year-old Slinger man, was already in custody on unrelated charges at the time of the warrant.
“This was a great joint effort by Slinger Police Department members and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force resulting in the arrest of an individual who clearly has little respect for his neighbors and the community of Slinger,' Police Chief Dean Schmidt said.
Authorities say Cleveland is charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors including keeper of a drug house while armed, possession of a machine gun and possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.
His bail was set at $100,000 and he remains in custody at the Washington County Jail.
