MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The 16th annual Milwaukee Fatherhood Summit is underway.
The two-day event is being held at the Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) downtown campus.
The summit brings people together to help identify resources to help men become better fathers at home and in their communities.
The them this year is "Fatherhood, navigating a changing world."
"The Milwaukee fatherhood initiative has been going on for many years," said Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley. "It's been a partnership with Child Support Services, with SDC [Social Development Commission], the city of Milwaukee, to really provide an opportunity for the men in the city to get the resources they need to become better caregivers in their children's lives."
The event runs through Saturday, Oct. 9.
