16-year-old shot near S. 28th Street and W. Mitchell Street

A 16-year-old male was shot near S. 28th Street and W. Mitchell Street during circumstances that remain unclear.
Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 3:30 p.m. on August 7.
A citizen began to convey the victim to a local hospital when the victim saw an ambulance in the 2400 block of S. Windlake Avenue and the ambulance transported the victim to the hospital, for non-life threatening injuries.
Milwaukee Police continue to seek a motive and suspects.
