Police: 16-year-old dead in Sheboygan shooting; 15-year-old taken into custody

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 15-year-old could face charges in connection to a shooting that left a 16-year-old dead in Sheboygan. 

On Saturday, Nov. 28, Sheboygan police and fire officials were called to a residence near 18th and Marvery Road. 

Responding officers found a 16-year-old boy dead from an apparent gunshot wound. 

Officials say a 15-year-old boy in connection was referred to juvenile authorities for homicide by negligent use of a dangerous weapon. 

An investigation is ongoing.
