16 Intersections in Downtown Milwaukee Traffic Signals are in "Flash Mode"

We-Energies has alerted the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works (DPW) that one of their transformers is experiencing some difficulties. 

As a result, the traffic signals at the following 16 Downtown intersections are in “flash mode” and will eventually be turned off in order to make repairs.  DPW staff is placing STOP signs at these intersections to control traffic flow.  The Milwaukee Police Department has been alerted and requested to assist with traffic control.

The Downtown intersections affected:

• Plankinton & Wisconsin
• State & Old World 3rd
• State & 4th St.
