15-year-old reports she was approached by elderly man, Kenosha Police investigating

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police in Kenosha say they're investigating a suspicious complaint after a 15-year-old reported an elderly man tried to talk with her and two other juveniles she was with. 

The incident happened near 41st Street and 53rd Avenue around 9:45 a.m. Friday, July 27. The teen told police the man was driving a black sedan and had a large stuffed animal in the vehicle. Kenosha Police say after developing a number of leads and witnesses, detectives have identified an 84-year-old man as the involved subject. At this time, no arrests have been made.

Parents are reminded to warn their children about the dangers of speaking with strangers and report suspicious or alarming activity to the Kenosha Police Department at 262-656-1234 (911 for emergency).
