15-Year-Old Arrested at Brown Deer YMCA for Allegedly Stealing $2,895 of Property from a Locker

A 15-year-old male suspect was arrested for allegedly stealing nearly $3,000 worth of personal property from a YMCA locker in Brown Deer over the weekend, according to the Brown Deer Police Department.

A YMCA employee reported the theft from the locker.

The victim was a 28-year-old Milwaukee man reported his $400 Apple watch, $1,200 Cartier sunglasses, $480 Gucci belt, two necklaces valued at $100 each, $700 in cash and about $15 in dollar coins were missing from his locker.

An employee advised he provided entry to a male subject who claimed the locker was his.

The staff member called the police to report the suspect was on the scene playing basketball.

The suspect was arrested and turned over to his mother.

According to the report, some of the property was recovered.
