MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- City officials are helping to educate residents with information on housing related questions.
On Saturday, Nov. 11, Alderwoman Milele Coggs and Alderman Russell Stamper held the 13th annual Housing Resource Fair at North Division High School.
It featured workshops and other resources to provide people with information on home financing, repairs, foreclosure prevention, and more.
Alderwoman Coggs said the goal of the event is to try and increase home ownership in Milwaukee.
"I think a resource fair like this helps the apprehension that people may have on home ownership, by connecting them with resources that may help to lower those interest rates, that may help with down payment assistance," said Coggs.
