13-year-old taken into custody for possession of marijuana

A 13-year-old was taken into custody for possessing marijuana.

While on patrol on Sunday, an officer with the St. Francis Police Department located a vehicle parked in the alley and smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle.

The officer also observed a small amount of marijuana on the front seat in plain view.

A 13-year-old St. Francis teen was taken into custody for possessing marijuana.

The teen was cited, booked, and turned over to his mother.
