WALWORTH COUNTY -- Steven Zelich sits behind bars on a one-million dollar bond.

mso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:#222222\">Walworth County doesn't have the jurisdiction to charge Zelich with murder, but the district attorney and the judge agreed Zelich’s bond should take into account his confessing to being involved in the deaths of two women.

mso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:#222222\">He sat quiet and emotionless on screen as Walworth County District Attorney Dan Necci gave gruesome details to the court.

mso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:#222222\">While he says Walworth County doesn't have jurisdiction to charge Zelich with murder, Necci still asked for a one million dollar bond on the two charges of hiding a body.

mso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:#222222\">\"We don't get a lot of hiding a corpse here in Walworth County. So I think the circumstances always dictate what we're going to ask for as far as bond.\" Necci said following the hearing.

mso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:#222222\">After hearing a counter from Zelich's public defender, Walworth County Judge David Reddy quickly made a ruling.

mso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:#222222\">\"The criminal complaint indicates the defendant admitted to committing these crimes, and most importantly that he caused the death of these victims. Because of that, I'm adopting the recommendation of the state. It will be one million dollar cash bond.\" Reddy said from the bench during the hearing.

mso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:#222222\">Necci said murder charges could end up coming in Kenosha County, and in Minnesota.

mso-fareast-font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:#222222\"> “In the grand scheme of things if homicide charges are filed in other counties, our charges are kind of small potatoes at this point.\" Necci said.
