Young hometown baker knows she has all the right ingredients to be the Food Network's 'Kids Baking Champion'

FONTANA ON THE LAKE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's safe to say 11-year-old Carly Van Pelt from Walworth County knows her way around the kitchen. She's been baking since she was a young child, and she's ready to prove to the world she can win this season's "Kids Baking Championship" on the Food Network. She's one of three semi-finalists. The season finale is March 3^rd.

Meantime, if you want to try her baked goods, Carly even has her company called VP's Treats. She makes baked goods for humans, horses, and dogs.
