GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- School is out, or soon will be, for kids across SE Wisconsin. Spending time at a summer camp can keep them engaged and learning throughout the summer months. The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County (GWC) offers day camps for all age groups, plus they have options for kids with specific interests-- from science and technology to sports.
This year, nearly all of the camps have waitlists as the YMCA of GWC is in need of more camp counselors.
The job comes with many perks, like spending all day outdoors and weekends off. The pay is $15 an hour. You can apply to work at one of a handful of locations for 11 weeks this summer.
